Description

The Beehive was an enemy that only appeared on Eggy Island hard mode as a part of the Spring 2020 Event. This did not appear in easy mode. This enemy moved incredibly quickly with bees. However, it moved slightly slower (but still fast) when it did not have bees.

At half health (175), the Beehive lost its bees and therefore its speed was reduced.

Appearance

The Beehive had yellow torso and legs, and blue skin. When it was covered in bees, it had a beehive on its head. When it wasn't covered with bees, the beehive was removed.

Strategy

• Try to immediately remove the bees from the Beehive quickly.
• As they appear in numbers, it is recommended to use the Mortar or Rocketeer to defeat these.
  • If these are not at hand, the Minigunner can be sufficient.
• You can use the Pyromancer, Freezer and Electroshocker to slow the Beehive down so that it is easier to attack.

Trivia

• This was the first enemy to have a negative downgrade when it loses health.
