Void Reaver (Legacy)
Description
The Void Reaver is the last boss of Hardcore Mode.
It wields a "Fallen" Broadsword, of which it throws after getting to half health. It wears a mask, which resembles African Tribe masks, but black and purple. It has Magenta colored skin.
Strategy
- Prepare multiple cliff towers like Outlaw and Mortar to deal with the Void Reaver. Because it is more difficult for cliff towers to be stunned, and because these towers deal high damage, it is recommended to use them.
- Medics are recommended to clear away the stun of Void Energy and Void Stomp. However, if the Medic itself is stunned, then it can be a dead weight to your loadout.
- Be aware that 2 of them spawn with a total of 1,200,000 health. This will take some time.
- Try to space out as much room as you can between them. The first one will naturally become much faster after it is almost defeated, which will leave more space for you before transitioning the next Void Reaver. Use this break as a small breathing point to manage your towers.
- Be aware that, when one of them gets to half health, it'll throw it's sword at your base, to dealing extreme damage. The first Void Reaver will bring your base health to 20 (if it was never damaged before), and the second will take your base to a mere 1 health. This makes the base extremely vulnerable. If anything touches the base, you will be defeated.
- It is recommended to chain the Commander's Call Of Arms ability to maximize damage, and in turn, maximizing your towers' DPS. This is crucial when trying to beat the Void Reaver. If possible, make sure all towers are boosted and are constantly affected by the Call Of Arms ability.
- The Void Reaver is extremely slow, which can work in your favor. You won't have to use as many slowing towers, due to its already extremely slow speed. However, when it starts to speed up, players may want to use towers to slow it down, such as Pyromancer or Electroshocker (Void Reaver is immune to freeze).
Trivia
- This is the first enemy to destroy units without collision.
- This is also the first enemy to damage the base health without dying.
- This enemy is the only enemy so far that dematerializes upon death.
