Description
The Fallen King is the final boss of insane mode. It moves slowly, but has an outstanding amount of health, providing one of the hardest challenges of the game.
The Fallen King appears to be a being of living stone as the boss appears to be entirely made of stone, presumably granite. It bears a crown and cape akin to a king's attire, a sword on its left hand radiating purple energy, and a shield on its right hand, all made of stone.
Akin to its Fallen minions, the Fallen King is immune to fire, freeze, and explosions.
Strategy
- Using the Electroshocker is the only way to slow down the Fallen King, abit at 15% at ~0.5 duration per attack.
- Demoman and Rocketeer will deal no damage to the Fallen King, so you may want to use other towers against the Fallen King.
- While the Fallen King's Block prevents almost all sources of damage, it is immobile while it is active, as this is mainly to waste time/ability durations.
- This can be used a breathe point to manage your towers, but don't use active buffing abilities such as Call to Arms during this attack.
- The Fallen King's Block cannot prevent collision damage, meaning Military Bases can still be used to deal consistent damage.
- The Fallen King is accompanied by 4 Fallen Guardians. These are always at the front of it. They should be fought first since they're faster than the King.
- This would be similar to a scenario where you fight a final boss with 230000 health, if counting the Guardians.
- Beware of the Fallen King's Pound attack. This covers an enormous radius around the boss, stunning any ground towers caught in the shockwave.
Trivia
- The Fallen King has the second highest highest HP pool out of all the zombies in the game excluding event zombies, first being the Creator.
- Counting event zombies the Fallen King has the fourth highest HP pool.
- The Fallen King is the only enemy to have an (almost) invincibility ability.
- It is theorized that Fallen King is a dark reincarnation of Swordmaster.
- The Fallen King is based off of a phenomenon of a King losing its kingdom.
- Fallen Kingdom by CaptainSparklez is a viral example of this.
- The Fallen King is also inspired by Void from Tower Battles.
