Description

The Gravekeeper is a mid-game boss. It is considered to be the first major boss of the game. It is one of the first zombies encountered with multiple offensive abilities. It is also the final (and main) boss of the Easy difficulty. They walk slower than the Slow Boss but have 12.5x the health of the Slow Boss.

Gravekeepers can stun nearby towers with its Hammer Smash and can spawn 4-8 Tombstones. These Tombstones can spawn Normals, Slows, Hiddens and Normal Bosses.

The Gravekeeper has a chain wrapped around his torso, a grey hood, and one red eye (the other is covered by an eye patch). The Gravekeeper also wields a giant rusty hammer. It has green skin, a white torso, wears a grey vest and has dark green legs. On its back is a Tombstone.

Strategy

• Multiple Gravekeepers can be a problem later on, Freezers deal with them well.
• Commanders can be used to boost high DPS towers such as the Minigunner and Turret.
• Towers near the track are vulnerable to the Hammer Smash. Try to locate towers away from the path, if possible.
• The Tombstones the Gravekeeper spawns may cause a problem if no towers can reach them. Locate a tower near them or rely on the Military Base or crooks from the Crook Boss to clear them up.

Trivia

• There was a glitch where you could place a tower on the body when it was killed.
