Rusted has been removed from the game as of the 13th of October 2019.
Rusted may still exist in the game's code, though it is no longer officially used in-game. This page has been preserved for historical purposes.

Description

The Rusted was a rusted enemy, as the name suggested. It had average speed while having more health than the Chained, meaning that this could have been considered a tanky enemy, even though it was not a boss. This could be considered a tougher variation of the Golden as it had much more health than it, but the Rusted was not immune to splash damage.

Appearance

The Rusted's was entirely corroded metal. It had brown skin and a brown wristband on its left arm. Its torso and legs were black. Twisted metal could be seen just above its waist on the bottom left side of its torso. It was about the same size as the Golden.

Strategy

• The Rusted does not spawn in large hordes, so high DPS towers, such as the Turret and the Minigunner, can easily defeat this enemy.
• Rusteds barely spawn so they are not that much of a threat.
• Unlike Goldens, the Rusted is not immune to explosions.
  • This means that the Rocketeer can easily wipe them out.
