The Gold Guard |
The Gold Guard is a large guardian enemy exclusive to Golden mode, which is exclusive to Sandbox mode. The Gold Guard always spawns before the Gold Titan. Its main purpose is to protect the Gold Titan. |
||
It can impale towers with its trident, stunning them for a brief period of time. It has Freeze Immunity, making it impossible to freeze and chill, and the Stun Immunity, making it impossible to knock back and making it only get slowed down by stuns. |

**Be aware that the Electroshocker can only slow the Gold Guard down for a very short period of time due to its large size and energy immunity. |

Gold Guard was previously removed on the 29th of October 2020, though it has been made available through the Sandbox mode later.
It is not accessible anywhere else in the game. This page will attempt to include information about both the version before removal and its re-added version.

- Due to their high DPS, Pursuits, Rangers and Turrets are excellent options against these enemies.
- The Medic's ability can cleanse towers stunned by Gold Guard.
- Due to its immunities, it cannot be frozen, chilled or knocked back by towers, reducing the number of towers that can stall it.
- Stunning towers will also only slow it down instead of stunning it.
