Description
The Solar Shard was an enemy that appeared in the third and fourth night of the Solar Eclipse Event. It did not appear naturally in the Tower Outskirts and was instead spawned by Penumbras, while in the Totality Tower it appeared naturally and could be spawned by the Lunar Servant. It had a low amount of health and a below average speed. Upon death the Solar Shard would spawn a Lunar Shard.
Appearance
The Solar Shard had dark purple skin. It had a cracked torso, revealing a light orange substance within it. It had glowing orange shoulder-pads and a floating sun symbol behind its head. It walked with a slight hunchback.
Strategy
- Towers with high DPS, such as the Accelerator, Turret, Minigunner or Ranger are recommended to defeat this enemy.
- If a Solar Shard has low health and is near the end of the map, try not to kill it, as it will transform into a Lunar Shard and do considerably more damage to the base.
- However, the Lunar Shard will also turn into Dust upon death.
