Frost Spirit (Frost Invasion) was previously removed from the game on the 4th of December 2021 as it was part of the Frost Invasion Event, though it has been made available through the Sandbox mode.
It is not accessible anywhere else in the game, aside from in Sandbox Mode. This page will attempt to include information about both the version before removal and its re-added version.

- "This is it, the frost spirit as[sic] arrived.
Its[sic] do or die!" - ―Commander dialogue on Wave 20 (Outpost 32)
Description
[edit]The Frost Spirit was a major boss that appeared exclusively in Outpost 32 as the final boss of the Frost Invasion Event. Currently, it can only appear in Sandbox mode, though it copies the Operation I.C.E Event Frost Spirit statistics there. It moved at an extremely slow pace, but had one million health, surpassing every enemy's health in the game at the time.
The Frost Spirit had four abilities.
- Its first ability was its Frostbite Slam attack, which froze towers hit, meaning that they could not attack.
- Its second ability, its Nausea Stomp attack, caused towers' firerate to be increased by an 150% Fatigue Debuff, thereby making them shoot slower.
- Its third ability was its Antarctic Mist attack. This attack caused the Frost Spirit to breathe cold mist, freezing any towers caught in the breath. This attack also dealt damage to units, 450 damage per tick.
- Its fourth and final ability was Flying Frost, a variant of a Rage Mode. During this state, its wings caused it to be lifted a short distance off the ground, increasing its speed. None of these abilities work in Sandbox mode.
Appearance
[edit]The Frost Spirit has black reflective skin, while its torso and legs are dark blue marble. It wears a blue-grey robe, hood, complete a furry collar, and boots. It has light blue wings which it can use to fly a short distance above the ground during its ability. Neon blue spikes can be seen on its shoulders and above its head was a neon blue halo. Black chains are wrapped around its legs, arms and wings. Around its neck, it wears a chain with a grey lock on it. It also has menacing neon blue eyes. The Frost Spirit wields a scythe to attack towers. Chains run along the top of the scythe and the blade was neon blue.
Event Strategy
[edit]As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Outpost 32 is listed instead.
- You can use Turrets, Accelerators, Pursuits and Rangers to take down the Frost Spirit and other enemies that spawn before it. This is recommended due to the Frost Spirit's high health.
- The Commander's Call to Arms ability can be useful in boosting these towers' firerate, allowing more damage to be done over time.
- The Commander also allows you to mitigate the effects of the Nausea Stomp, as it cancels out the increase in firerate.
- As the Frost Spirit is likely going to get out of your towers' range, especially if they are placed near the start of the map, you should use the DJ Booth to boost the range of these towers.
- The Commander's Call to Arms ability can be useful in boosting these towers' firerate, allowing more damage to be done over time.
- The Frost Spirit will always use the middle left path, relative to the direction that enemies move towards.
- You should sell towers on the right paths that do not reach the middle left path. You should also sell towers that the Frost Spirit has moved out of range of.
- You should also sell towers that deal damage to multiple enemies, like the Rocketeer, if you have towers that deal more DPS to a singular enemy, like the Minigunner, as the Frost Spirit does not spawn any enemies.
- The Military Base is not recommended against the Frost Spirit, as it is unlikely that its units will collide with the Frost Spirit, or even be in range of the Frost Spirit as its units can spawn on different paths, which may not be on the same path as the Frost Spirit.
- As with all enemies in the Frost Invasion Event, the Pyromancer deals double fire damage to the Frost Spirit (though normal damage is not doubled).
- However, as the Pyromancer speeds up enemies when they are on fire, you should sell any Pyromancers remaining when it is just the Frost Spirit alive.
- The Medic cannot cleanse towers if they are frozen, nor is it immune to being frozen by the Frost Spirit.
- The Gladiator cannot block any of the Frost Spirit's attacks, even though the blocking animation plays.
- After the Frost Spirit activates its Flying Frost ability, it will hover in the air a short distance above the path.
