Description
The Hefty is a tanky enemy that appears in Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has higher health and Defense than every enemy that appeared before it, though it is also slower than all of them.
The Hefty can be spawned by the Mystery.
Logbook Description
"The Hefty are those who are completely consumed by the Void Gems. Gems sprout from their bodies as their skin turns to crystal. The souls trapped within their bodies are chained down by magic as the transformation causes them to fall out with nothing organic to hold onto."
Appearance
Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Dev:Tabber' not found.
Strategy
- While fairly tough for their debut, Hefties can easily be handled by most early defense towers, such as the Pyromancer/Golden Pyromancer, Engineer, Operator and several others.
- Due to the drastically reduced leniency of the early waves in Voidcore Mode, completely relying on the Pyromancer/Golden Pyromancer is not advised.
- The Hefty's Defense is nothing to be concerned about, as it's too low to have any major impact on most towers you can afford by this point.
- If truly necessary, the Pyromancer and Golden Pyromancer can reduce it, though they will more often than not just kill the Hefty anyway.

- Weirdly, the health of the Hefty was increased in MEGA Servers, despite it not being able to spawn in a MEGA Server without admin commands.
- The legacy version of the Hefty looks similar to the Rusted.
- Its original appearance looked similar to the unreleased and current version of Chained Boss.
