Description

The Brute was an enemy that appeared in The Heights as part of the SFOTH Event. It had the same walkspeed as the Slow, but had less health than the Crystalite. However, its main ability was that it was able to stun towers through its Rock Throw ability.

The Brute could also be spawned by the Swordmaster.

Appearance

The Brute was slightly more broad than the Slow, while being smaller than the Slow Boss. It had muscular arms, grey skin, walked with a hunchback and had its head slightly tilted. It also had blue glowing eyes. It wore grey shorts, had straps around its body and wore a gladiator helmet.

Strategy

  • This is actually weaker than the Crystalite, meaning that, in terms of health, this is easier to kill.
    • However, the Brute stuns towers with its Rock Throw ability meaning that they pose a huge threat if underestimated.
  • If you have any cheap towers, such as the Scout, they can be used to distract the Brute, while long-range towers, such as the Outlaw, can be used to kill the Brute from a distance away.
    • Alternatively, you can place your towers away from the path so that the rocks thrown by the Brute are less likely to hit them.

Trivia

  • The design of the Brute was very similar to R2D's Tank which in turn was inspired by the Tank in Left 4 Dead.
    • The name Brute was likely based on R2DA's Brute.
    • The Brute was also similar in design to the Tank 1 and Tank 2.
  • The arms of the Brute were taken from the Superhero package from the Roblox catalog.

  • 24 June 2019

  • 13 October 2019
