Description
The Null Warden, internally referred to as the Corrupted Warden, is a tanky enemy that appeared in Outpost 16 as part of the Null & Void Event. It has a high amount of health, higher than every enemy except the Null Commander, and a decently fast speed.
In the Hard difficulty of Outpost 16, it always spawns with Lead, meaning towers need lead detection to be able to damage it.
Logbook Description
"As the Null Warden crawled from the rift, the original tightened his gear and flicked out his baton. Warden glared at it from behind his visor. "Man you are ugly." he muttered. The Null Warden ran forward, slowed by the gear it wore. Warden planted his feet and raised his shield. "I don't know if I should feel insulted.""
Appearance
The Null Warden is a corrupted recreation of the Warden. It has purple skin. It wears purple clothes, black vest, black helmet with a visor, knee-pads and gloves. What appears to be purple goo can be seen all over its body. A few pink spores can also be seen on it.
Strategy
- Towers with decent DPS, like the Golden Scout, Accelerator, Rocketeer, Ranger or Pursuit are recommended here.
- While not an issue in Easy difficulty, it is recommended that the towers brought in have lead detection, as in the Hard difficulty it always spawn as a Lead enemy.
- There are a few ways to give towers lead detection in case none of the towers brought in have it.
- The Firework Technician can be used to give all towers lead detection at the start of the wave.
- The Sun can be used to give every tower all detections, though it comes with the downside of making every enemy immune to stuns, freeze and burn.
