Description

[edit]

The Void Brute is a mini-boss that appears in both Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has high health but rather slow speed.

The Void Brute has one ability, where it will pick up a boulder from the ground and throw it at a tower or unit in its range of 25. Upon impact, the boulder will split into multiple smaller boulders, which apply the same effects as it does. Any tower hit receives a 40% Fatigue Debuff (22.22% increase) while units receive 100 damage. When performing this ability, the Shield Health of the Void Brute is set to 6,000. While this Shield Health exists, the Void Brute becomes an Aggro enemy and stays this way until all the Shield Health is depleted. As it just changes the Shield Health rather than adding it, this means that if this ability is used while the Shield Health from the previous ability usage has not been fully depleted, it will not add 6,000 Shield Health on top of the currently existing Shield Health, but instead just changes it back to 6,000 again.

Logbook Description

[edit]

"Void Brutes are the strongest fighters of bloomed realms, fallen victim to the whispers of the Void. The power held within the gems strengthened their bodies and gradually began consuming them, solidifying into a singular giant mass that they use as a weapon. They are naturally a bit dumb, and spend most of their time laying in a field of flowers as their bodies slowly turn into stone and gem."

Appearance

[edit]

The Void Brute is a creature with white skin. The left side of its body has been fully corrupted, turning its skin black there, also giving it purple veins, purple crystals, flowers and purple. In its torso, it has a giant hole. It wears beige cloth around its waist. It has a white head with part of it missing, being filled in with a mixture of small white and black pieces.

Strategy

[edit]
  • High DPS towers such as the Engineer, Kingpin, Accelerator and Juggernaut are required to deal with the Void Brute.
  • Dealing with the other enemies will make the Void Brute's Bound Crush ability less threatening.
  • In Voidcore mode, it is recommended to deal as much damage to the Void Brute as possible before Wave 35 starts, as the Void Brute and Void Keeper together can be quite threatening.
  • The Void Brute can often reach far enough to leave the range of towers. If using the DJ Booth, it is recommended to switch to the Purple track once it leaves the range of towers.

Trivia

[edit]
  • The Void Brute's name, appearance and ability are based on the Brute enemy.
    • The Bound Crush ability resembles the Rock Throw ability from the Brute from the SFOTH Event and Tank's first and second version.
    • Ironically, Void Brute has fewer abilities than Brute.
  • The Void Brute's concept art has the Void Brute wear chains on its left arm while also having an eye on its face, though these details are not present in-game.
  • The Void Brute is unaffected by enemy appearance modifiers, such as Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Update History

[edit]
  • 5 June 2026 - v2.0.0
    • Void Brute added.
  • 17 July 2026 - v2.3.0
    • Health increased from 75,000 to 80,000 in Voidcore mode.
    • Bound Crush starting ability cooldown increased from 17.5 to 24.
