Description

The Void Rusher is a fast enemy that appears in Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has lower health than most enemies it spawns alongside with, however, it is way faster than all of them. It has Shield Health which, once depleted, causes the shield its holding to break, more than halving its speed and removing its Defense.

Logbook Description

"Void Rushers are created once Swifts earn their ranking and are promoted into carrying the Shield of the Void. How they go about choosing who is and who is not fit for the title is unknown, but once they pick up the shield it is forbidden to place it down. The shield weighs more than their own bodies, yet even that is lighter than the burden of holding the frontline of the Void."

Appearance

The Void Rusher has black skin and purple markings on its body. It wears purple armor on its torso and legs and also has a purple helmet. It carries the Shield of the Void which is destroyed when its Shield Health is depleted.

Strategy

  • Depleting the Void Rusher's shield health as fast as possible is crucial to dramatically slowing it down before it becomes a major threat.
    • Utilizing high DPS towers such as the Engineer, Accelerator, Juggernaut, or Kingpin can quickly drain the Void Rusher's shield health.
    • The Commander and Medic can decrease the firerate of your towers, allowing them to kill the Void Rusher faster.
      • The DJ Booth can also increase your towers' range to cover more path.
  • Because of its extremely swift speed, using towers such as the Electroshocker, Tesla, Freezer, or Frost Blaster can slow down the Void Rusher.
