The Brain Bound was an enemy that appeared in Failed Gateway as part of the Hexscape Event. It also appeared in Containment, but only when spawned by Corrupted Titus. It had a decently high amount of health, some defense and it was quite fast, being faster than the Pawn. It also occasionally spawned with the Bloated, Aggro and Tank attributes.

The Brain Bound was a wooden construct with a brown body. It had a dark brown shirt and short parts that were also torn. It had multiple metal plates on its hands and knee-pads, all with various colors and grey spikes. It also had a metal head piece with wires and a lens on its head.

Strategy

  • Brain Bounds can be dealt with by strong, cost-effective early game towers, such as the Crook Boss and Golden Soldier.
  • Some Brain Bounds will have the Aggro attribute, potentially letting other enemies leak past.
    • Towers that can hit multiple enemies at once are recommended to prevent this.
