Description
The Gunslinger is the final boss of Badlands II.

Although it moves slowly, it has a large amount of health and many abilities that can stun lots of towers and destroy units, making it one of the most difficult bosses to defeat in the game. Additionally, the Gunslinger is immune to being stunned by the Electroshocker and Warden and it is instead slowed down, frozen by freezing towers like the Freezer, Frost Blaster and Sledger, slowed down by the Toxic Gunner, confused by the Jester, knocked back, damaged by the Nuke's fallout damage and slowed down by the DJ Booth.

The Gunslinger has four abilities:
#Its first, Skull Shot, makes it fire its revolver at multiple towers, creating a shockwave on impact that stuns towers and deals 500 damage to units.
#Its second ability, Shell Rain, makes it fire its double-barreled shotgun into the air, making multiple shells fall from the sky, which upon hitting the ground create a shockwave that stuns towers and deals 500 damage to units.
#Its third, Crossbones Crossfire, has its Gatling gun fire haphazardly, stunning many towers and damaging multiple units in the process by 20 damage per bullet.
#Its fourth, Time's Up, is a rage mode ability where the Gunslinger takes out both of its weapons and screams, decreasing the range of nearby towers by 50% with the Scared Debuff. It also creates a brief sandstorm on the map, though this is not guaranteed to happen.

The Gunslinger only spawns on the middle path on Wave 30, ignoring the All Paths modifier.

Appearance
The Gunslinger is a large skeletal humanoid with a waist and lower arms in its rig. It wears brown pants that cover its waist and legs as well as a black shirt that covers its torso and arms. It has a skull for a head, with an angry expression, as well as a dark brown cowboy hat. It has black shoulder-pads, grey and black arm-pads and brown gloves on each arm.

It has a dark grey scarf, a black chestplate and two brown bandoliers filled with yellow bullets on its torso. It has a brown wooden coffin on its back, which conceals a mounted black and golden Gatling gun. It also has a steampunk themed black and gold blunderbuss and double barrel shotgun hanging off of the coffin. It has black and grey knee-pads and brown shoes on its legs, as well as a belt on its waist, with yellow bullets stored on it.

The Gunslinger has a death animation, where it be lit entirely on fire and fall forward. After the fire disappears, it will appear completely black.

Strategy
*High DPS towers, such as the Accelerator, Turret, Engineer, Golden Minigunner and Ranger are recommended to defeat the Gunslinger.
**The Pursuit can also be useful here, as it is immune to stuns and debuffs, making it unaffected by all of the Gunslinger's abilities.
**The Ranger is immune to stuns from the Gunslinger's abilities, making it very useful against the Gunslinger.
**The Turret can be a bit useful here, as it is immune to the Scared Debuff applied by the Gunslinger.
*Make sure to sell any Farms to maximize the number of towers attacking the Gunslinger. They do not produce any income anymore, count towards your tower limit and can be replaced by a more useful tower.
**In Badlands II, due to the high number of enemies that spawn, you will have more than enough money by the time the Gunslinger spawns, meaning that you can sell your Farms earlier.
**The Cowboy and Golden Cowboy can still produce income, so you can keep them if you need more cash for your towers. However, this is generally not necessary, as you will get a lot of cash from damaging enemies and the Gunslinger itself.
***Because of this, you can also sell your Cowboys or Golden Cowboys at later waves, if you can place down any other high DPS towers.
*The DJ Booth can be used to partially mitigate the effects of the Gunslinger's Scared Debuff.
**It can also be useful at increasing your tower's range and decreasing its upgrade costs.
**You can also try to replace your towers after the Time's Up ability, though this is not necessary.
*The Medic can be quite useful for shielding your towers from stuns.
**Do note that the Medic's shield cannot be used to protect towers from the Scared Debuff.
*The Gunslinger cannot be slowed down by most towers.
**Due to how short the map is, the Jester can be useful to stall the boss.
**The Warden and Electroshocker can slow down the Gunslinger instead of stunning it, though because of its large size, the Warden can only slow it down for a shorter amount of time.
**It is also immune to being frozen by the Freezer, Frost Blaster and Sledger, due to its freeze immunity.
***The Frost Blaster and Sledger can, however, be useful against the enemies that appear before the Gunslinger.
**The Toxic Gunner cannot slow this down as the Gunslinger is immune to its slowdown. It can, however, be useful against the enemies that appear before it.
**The Jester cannot confuse it, though it can still slow it down with its ice bombs.

Description

[edit]

 1. Its first, Skull Shot, makes it fire its revolver at multiple towers, creating a shockwave on impact that stuns towers and deals 500 damage to units.
 2. Its second ability, Shell Rain, makes it fire its double-barreled shotgun into the air, making multiple shells fall from the sky, which upon hitting the ground create a shockwave that stuns towers and deals 500 damage to units.
 3. Its third, Crossbones Crossfire, has its Gatling gun fire haphazardly, stunning many towers and damaging multiple units in the process by 20 damage per bullet.
 4. Its fourth, Time's Up, is a rage mode ability where the Gunslinger takes out both of its weapons and screams, decreasing the range of nearby towers by 50% with the Scared Debuff. It also creates a brief sandstorm on the map, though this is not guaranteed to happen.

The Gunslinger only spawns on the middle path on Wave 30, ignoring the All Paths modifier.
