Description

The Shock, originally named the Lightning, was a very fast enemy that only appears in Molten. It is noticeably faster than most enemies in the game. They have the same amount of health as the Molten, meaning that they are a dangerous threat.

The Shock used to be spawned by the Mystery upon its death in Molten mode, wave 27 onwards.

Its torso and legs were glowing light yellow. It had a lightning bolt symbol on its torso. It had grey diamond-plated armbands on both its arms. Yellow sparks were emitted from its torso and arms. It had a sad face. |-|Version 3 = The third version of the Shock had glowing yellow skin, its torso and legs were golden, and it had a lightning bolt symbol on its torso. It had a drooling zombie face. Yellow sparks were emitted from its head and arms. Strategy

  • Using towers that can slow down the Shock, such as the Electroshocker, Sledger and Warden, is highly recommended.
    • Be wary that due to its fast speed, Sledgers may occasionally miss their swings.
    • Because of its high damage, a few Level 4-5 Electroshockers can be used to easily kill multiple Shocks.
  • Because of the Shock's high speed, towers with high firerate and low range, such as the Shotgunner, will perform poorly against this enemy.
    • However, the Ranger can kill these enemies with one shot if it is at a high enough level, it also has a much higher range, keeping them in its range for much longer.
  • Towers that can damage multiple enemies at once, such as the Executioner or Mortar, can be useful against Shocks, as they mostly spawn in groups.
  • The Military Base's Tanks and Railgun Tanks can absorb damage from damaged Shocks pretty easily while also being able to damage them.
  • High DPS towers, like the Minigunner, Pursuit, or Accelerator can easily take out hordes of Shocks.
    • You should not rely on the Pursuit as it might not target some of the Shocks due to their fast speed and the Pursuit's targeting system.

Trivia

  • The original name and appearance was similar to an enemy from Tower Battles, the Lightning.
  • When the Super Mystery and Uber Mystery was in the game, they had a chance of spawning the Shock, upon their death, in Beginner's, Golden and Fallen modes.
  • When killed, the Shock leaves behind the same particles the Mystery does. The Shock also has the same death sound as the Mystery.
