Description
[edit]The Void Cultist is a support enemy that appears in both Hardcore and Voidcore modes. It has decent health and slightly slow speed. It has one ability where it will summon a Healing Beacon on the path that heals any enemy it passes through by 675 every 0.1 seconds. This Healing Beacon lasts 6 seconds and, once gone, the Void Cultist will wait around 6 seconds more before summoning another one.
Logbook Description
[edit]"The Void Cultist is a specialized Odd who found purpose in the Void. When their realms were being destroyed, they welcomed the end with open arms. For that, the Void rewarded them and Void Caster turned them into the Void Cultist. They preach the whispers of the Void and hold ceremonies for the army to partake in. Where others in the army were taken by the Void, the Cultists chose it, and they carry that distinction with quiet pride. Their devotion is expressed not through combat but through care, mending their fellow followers so that the army may march on. They are pacifists by conviction, and they chose to keep it that way."
Appearance
[edit]The Void Cultist has a black body. It wears a purple robe with a gold and purple cape and purple hood. It has a few purple and gold thorns coming out of its back. It has a gold and purple mask with multiple flowers covering its face. It will occasionally summon incantation circles around itself when using its ability.
Strategy
[edit]- It is important to focus best on taking down the Void Cultist as soon as possible when it spawns. While their Healing Beacons cannot damage your base, they can rapidly heal enemies within those beacons.
- Setting the targeting to some of your towers on Last Enemy, especially those of higher DPS, can help take down the Void Cultists as fast as possible, as they usually spawn in the back.
- If you have the Gatling Gun, you can freely focus on the Void Cultist(s) when in FPS mode, even if there are nearby enemies with Aggro.
- If you have a Saboteur that is at least at Level 3, you can use its Aggressive Toxins ability on the Void Cultist(s) to force nearby towers to target them, even if other nearby enemies have Aggro.
