Description

The Mutated is the first enemy the player faces in Polluted Wasteland II. It has somewhat high health and an above average speed. The Mutated replaces the Abnormal on Polluted Wasteland II.

The Mutated could have been spawned by the Mystery upon its death in Polluted Wasteland II.

Appearance

The Mutated has a chartreuse skin color and a black torso and legs. Veins are visible on its head and arms. It is faceless and it emits light green particles.

Strategy

• As Polluted Wasteland II has the HP Locked modifier and the Mutated has quite high health, it is not possible to let multiple waves of Mutateds get to the exit.
• Cheap towers with relatively high DPS, such as the Golden Pyromancer, Golden Soldier, Ace Pilot, Gladiator or Golden Scout, can easily deal with groups of Mutated.
• Because these enemies spawn in large hordes, multi-hit towers like the Executioner and the Golden Pyromancer can be very effective.
  • Do bear in mind that both of these towers require you to wait for a few waves before they can be placed down.
