Description

[edit]

The Giant Skeleton is an enemy that appears in Badlands II, Polluted Wasteland II, Challenge Trials and Story Mode. It has a high amount of health and a below average speed. It is also immune to being stunned, only being slowed down, and immune to knockback from towers.

The Giant Skeleton can be spawned by the Conjurer with its Summon ability, the Necromancer King with its Cursed Summon and the Nuclear Summon from the Nuclear Monster.

Appearance

[edit]

The Giant Skeleton is a larger version of the Skeleton with a waist, lower arms and lower legs in its rig. It is made entirely of white parts that resemble a skeletal humanoid. It does not have a full torso, but instead has the bone cage for it. Its head is slightly smaller than most other enemies and it has two large black eyeholes.

On death, the Giant Skeleton falls into a pile of bones while playing a bone shaking sound.

Strategy

[edit]
  • When dealing with the Giant Skeleton when it first debuts, high DPS towers are best fit. Such towers include the Pursuit, Engineer, Golden Minigunner, Accelerator and Ranger.
    • Towers with large range, such as the Ranger or Pursuit can be very useful here, as they can reach all three of the paths the Giant Skeleton will spawn in.
    • The Commander should be used to further boost the firerate of these towers.
  • Later on, Giant Skeletons will spawn in hordes. Splash damage towers, like the Rocketeer or Mortar can deal lots of damage to these hordes.
  • Most slowing towers are on the table when it comes to slowing the Giant Skeleton down. The Cryomancer, Electroshocker, Warden and Freezer are most effective due to the Giant Skeleton's tendency to spawn in hordes, while still being very effective against singular Giant Skeletons.
