Description

The Brain Bound is an enemy that appears in Failed Gateway as part of the Hexscape Event. It has a decently high amount of health, some defense and it is quite fast, being faster than the Pawn. It also occasionally spawns with the Bloated, Aggro and Tank attributes.

Appearance

The Brain Bound is a wooden construct with a brown body. It has dark brown shirt and short parts that are also torn. It has multiple metal plates on its hands and knee-pads, all with various colors and grey spikes. It also has a metal piece with wires and a lens on its head.

Strategy

• Brain Bounds can be dealt with by strong, cost-effective early game towers, such as the Crook Boss and Golden Soldier.
• Some Brain Bounds will have the Aggro attribute, potentially letting other enemies leak past.
  • Towers that can hit multiple enemies at once are recommended to prevent this.
  • Units from towers like the Crook Boss or Mercenary Base are also useful for dealing with leaks.
• In Hard mode, some Brain Bounds will spawn with the Tank attribute.
  • Towers with a fast firerate like the Minigunner can be used to deal with this.
  • Units' collision damage is a great way to deal with Tank Brain Bounds. Similarly, the Trapper's traps will deal heavy damage to them.
