Description

The Shock, originally named the Lightning, is a very fast enemy that only appears in Legacy Molten. It is noticeably faster than most enemies in the game. They have the same amount of health as the old Molten, meaning that they are a dangerous threat.

The Shock can be spawned by the Mystery upon its death in Molten mode from wave 27 onwards.

Appearance

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Dev:Tabber' not found.

Strategy

  • Using towers that can slow down the Shock, such as the Electroshocker, Sledger and Warden, is highly recommended.
    • Be wary that due to its fast speed, Sledgers may occasionally miss their swings.
    • Because of its high damage, a few Level 4-5 Electroshockers can be used to easily kill multiple Shocks.
  • Towers that can damage multiple enemies at once, such as the Rocketeer or Mortar, can be useful against Shocks, as they mostly spawn in groups.
  • The Military Base's Tanks and Railgun Tanks can absorb damage from damaged Shocks pretty easily while also being able to damage them.
  • High DPS towers, like the Minigunner, Pursuit, or Accelerator can easily take out hordes of Shocks.

Trivia

  • The original name and appearance was similar to an enemy from Tower Battles, the Lightning.
  • When the Super Mystery and Uber Mystery was in the game, they had a chance of spawning the Shock, upon their death, in Beginner's, Golden and Fallen modes.
  • When killed, the Shock left behind the same particles the Mystery does. The Shock also had the same death sound as the Mystery.
