Description

The Hex Wraith is a tanky enemy that appears in The Nightmare Realm and Containment as part of the Hexscape Event. It has high health, higher than all enemies that appeared before it, while also being quite fast for its health. On some waves, it can spawn with the Bloated, Tank and Aggro attributes.

Appearance

The Hex Wraith has maroon skin with neon red eyes. It has multiple holes in its body, revealing lava inside its body. It wears a grey chestplate and shoulder-pads. On its right arm, it wears a grey armband with a blade attached to it.

Strategy

• Strong early-game towers like the Golden Crook Boss, Militant, Cowboy and Golden Soldier can be used to kill this quickly.
• On some waves, the Hex Wraith will spawn with Aggro, making it force towers to target it.
  • Towers that can damage multiple enemies at once, such as the Pyromancer or Electroshocker can be useful here.
  • The Trapper can be useful in such situations, as while it will still target it, its traps will damage any enemies that get past the Aggro Hex Wraith. Similarly, unit collisions can also be effective.
