Description

The Fleshling is an enemy that appears in Polluted Wasteland II. It is an enemy that is introduced naturally on Wave 15, preceding the appearance of the Amalgamation within the same wave. After Wave 15, it only spawns when the Amalgamation takes damage. It has low health, but is slightly fast and always spawns in groups.

Appearance

The Fleshling is a humanoid with a light red skin color. It has a bear trap fitted around its head and it has multiple clumps of flesh and smaller humanoids sticking out of its body.

Strategy

• High DPS towers, such as the Ranger, Pursuit or Engineer are recommended to take down this enemy.
  • All the listed towers also receive splash damage capabilities at certain Levels, making them able to damage multiple Fleshlings at once.
  • The Accelerator can also be quite powerful against Fleshlings , though do note that it might lock on the Amalgamation causing the Fleshlings to slip by.
• Since multiple of them spawn at once, towers that can damage multiple enemies like the Golden Pyromancer, Mortar or Electroshocker can be good at dealing with groups of Fleshlings.

• The Fleshling, despite never being intended to appear in a server with more than four players, has MEGA Servers health scaling. It increases its health by 150 for every player after 4 players.
  • This is most likely carried over from the original Amalgamation, which also increased its health by 150.
