Description
editThe Giant Boss is a slow and large enemy with a huge health and defense pool that spawns exclusively on Fallen and Hardcore modes. It moves at a slightly slower speed compared to the Dark Necromancer, but can easily pass through weak defenses due to its high health. This also has energy immunity, meaning that it cannot be stopped by the Electroshocker.
This can be spawned from the Mystery Boss upon its death in the Fallen and Hardcore modes.
The Giant Boss is replaced by the Amalgamation in Polluted Wasteland II.
Appearance
edit
The Giant Boss, like its previous iteration, looks to be made entirely of bronze. It has a brown granite shirt and pants, along with a brown glove on its left arm. Additionally, it has chains wrapped around both of its arms. Multiple spikes emerge from the back of its torso, along with a knife stabbed in it. Its face seems to be a long cut across where the face would be. Its head is slightly tilted downwards and has a twisted left leg.

Strategy
edit- The Giant Boss has high defense and health compared to most early-game enemies, and because of this you will likely need high DPS towers like the Minigunner, Ranger, Accelerator or Turret to kill it.
- Later on during the match, Giant Bosses spawn in groups. This means that you can use splash damage towers, such as the Rocketeer and Mortar, to deal a lot of damage.
- They also ignore its defense, dealing full damage to the Giant Bosses.
- You should not rely on these towers to deal with the Giant Bosses alone, due to their low DPS.
- The Commander can boost the firerate of towers, making it easier to deal with the Giant Boss.
- The Freezer, Sledger, Frost Blaster and Toxic Gunner can slow this boss down, allowing your towers to attack the Giant Boss for a longer period of time.
- Be aware that, due to the Giant Boss's large size, it will be slowed down for a shorter period of time compared to an average-sized enemy.
- However, the Toxic Gunner is not affected by this.
- The Electroshocker can only slow the Giant Boss for a very short period of time due to its large size and energy immunity.
- It can remove 20% of the Giant Boss's defense, allowing your towers to deal more damage.
- This can stack with other towers' defense removing abilities, so the Freezer/Frost Blaster and Electroshocker can together remove up to 40% of its defense.
- The Pyromancer can also remove 50% of the Giant Boss's defense, allowing your towers to deal even more damage.
- However, the Pyromancer will speed up this enemy slightly.
- It can remove 20% of the Giant Boss's defense, allowing your towers to deal more damage.
- Be aware that, due to the Giant Boss's large size, it will be slowed down for a shorter period of time compared to an average-sized enemy.
- Because the Military Base's units ignore defense when colliding with enemies, it can be an effective counter to the Giant Boss.
- The splash damage from the Tank's or Railgun Tank's cannon and the explosion when they are destroyed also ignore defense.
- However, the damage of the gun still gets affected by defense.
- Later on during the game, too many Giant Bosses will spawn for the Military Base to deal with them alone.
- The splash damage from the Tank's or Railgun Tank's cannon and the explosion when they are destroyed also ignore defense.
Trivia
edit- The knife on the back of the Giant Boss is the Bombo's Survival Knife gear from the Roblox catalog.
- The Giant Boss is the slowest enemy in Fallen mode, even slower than the Fallen King.
