Exo Follower was previously removed from the game on the 11th of March 2026 as it was part of the The Final Act Event, though it has been made available through the Sandbox mode.
It is not accessible anywhere else in the game, aside from in Sandbox Mode. This page will attempt to include information about both the version before removal and its re-added version.

Description

Exo Follower was a fast enemy that appeared in The Narratorium as a part of The Final Act Event. It had decent health and fast speed. On some waves, it was a Hidden enemy, meaning towers needed hidden detection to target it.

Logbook Description

"Once given a soul by Lefty, the Exo Follower became bonded to the Exo Guard. While created to perform a role, when it's not acting it will happily follow around anyone it finds interesting. Sometimes the Exo Follower will antagonize Narrator, but it only reminds him of the Old World days."

Appearance

The Exo Follower is entirely covered up in black and purple armor, consisting of shoes, padding around thighs, shoulder-pads, shoulder-pads and helmet. On its arms, it has black glove and a chain wrapped around its right arm. It also has a purple belt, two buttons on its helmet and a button in the middle of its torso. It has two walking animations it can use.

Strategy

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in The Narratorium is listed instead.

• Early-game towers like the Crook Boss, Golden Soldier or Golden Crook Boss are pretty useful here, as they can kill it even when it is Hidden.
  • The Toxic Gunner and Electroshocker can be used to kill multiple at once, though do note that they will be partially or fully unable to damage them when Hidden.
• Later on, the Exo Follower becomes rather weak, meaning most towers should be capable of defeating them, including late-game towers like the Accelerator, Turret, Ranger or Pursuit.
  • Do note however that the Ranger and to path Pursuit are unable to target the Exo Follower while it is Hidden.
• As the Exo Follower is quite fast, stalling towers like the Freezer, Electroshocker, Frost Blaster or Toxic Gunner can be used to slow it down.
  • Stalling towers with hidden detection, like the Freezer, are especially useful, as they can slow it down even when Hidden.
