Ent (Haunted Harvest)
Overview
The Ent is a tanky enemy that appears in the Haunted Harvest gamemode, on the second map, being Phantasmagoric Port. It debuts on wave 15, being rather tricky to counter due to its early appearance.
However, the Ent suffers from a special passive in which it takes 50% more damage from any sources of burn, and any ice effects are 25% more effective. Because of this and how slow it is, towers like Jester or simply high DPS towers like Golden Minigunner can make quick work of the Ent.
Appearance
The Ent is a large humanoid tree with various leaves sprouting from its branches. Its body is made out of brown and light brown wood. It has vines covering its body, with a bark crown and carved legs along with a dim, green jewel lodged within its chest. It has neon light green eyes and brown wooden horns. It walks with a slightly hunched back.
Analysis, Ranking, and Strategy

So, the Ent is quite an interesting enemy. It's not particularly hard to deal with, just a little tricky. I'll analyze it and give a few tips n' tricks so you can understand how moderate this enemy is.
- The Ent is quite tanky for its debut, boasting up to 3,750 health in hard mode. Because of this, towers with high DPS or damage like the Accelerator or Ranger can deal with this enemy.
- Additionally, due to its slow speed and stun vulnerability, the Ent can be easily stalled.
- Its durability can however act as a shield and allow other faster enemies to slip by, so crowd control towers like Mortar can help counter this.
- For how early its debut is, level 3 Crook Bosses can handle the Ent relatively well.
- Its durability can however act as a shield and allow other faster enemies to slip by, so crowd control towers like Mortar can help counter this.
- Additionally, due to its slow speed and stun vulnerability, the Ent can be easily stalled.

One of the threats with the Ent is how it has access to spawning near the back of the map along with the swamp area, threatening your defenses up-front. However, enemies that take this path will be forced to rebound near the intersection of Phantasmagoric Port, allowing you to get some easy DPS in without moving your towers too much. However...
- The Ent is 25% more vulnerable to freeze, and 50% more vulnerable to burn.
- Because of this, high-damaging melee towers that can apply effects like Slayer or Sledger can deal with the Ent easily.
- Hilariously enough, the Lantern modifier actually debuffs this enemy, negating the burn resistance (0%), and increasing freeze vulnerability by 75%.
- Because of this, high-damaging melee towers that can apply effects like Slayer or Sledger can deal with the Ent easily.

The Ent recieves a 6/10 for threat level. This guy's not the biggest threat, only acting as a quick DPS check and has too many vulnerabilities to be a run-ender. However, towers with low range or below-average DPS may struggle against the Ent, and ultimately cause you to lose. This is especially because of this enemy spawning near the back, so the Ent is a bit threatening. Towers like Freezer or better yet, Sledger are really good in countering this enemy.
Trivia
- The Ent was based on the Ent from The Lord of the Rings.
- Additionally, the vulnerability passive is based off how wood is typically used for fueling fire.
