Description

The Unstable Core is an enemy that appears in Sorrowful Remains as part of the Solar Requiem Event. It has high health for its debut and an average speed. It has one ability where upon death, it will unleash the sunlight stored within it, releasing a shockwave with an explosion radius of 12 that applies a 30% Fatigue Debuff to towers for 5 seconds and dealing 40 damage to units.

Logbook Description

"The Unstable Core was created by condensing the sunlight surrounding a solar eclipse into a single power source. The bronze cage that contains it grants the Core what little stability it has. When the cage finally breaks, all of that light escapes at once, and anything caught near it is stunned."

Appearance

The Unstable Core is a power source powered by condensing sunlight that surrounds a solar eclipse. It is contained in a large yellow core which is surrounded by a bronze cage with legs and red fabric.

Strategy

• The Unstable Core can be taken down using most towers, like the Snowballer, Golden Scout, Demoman, Mortar or Golden Demoman
  • Towers can be placed a bit away from the path to minimize how many towers receive the debuff, though as its debuff is quite minor this is not necessary.
• The Unstable Core has the Freeze Immunity, meaning freezing towers cannot freeze or chill it to stall it.
  • Other forms of stalling can still be used.
